Hi have you checked the MAP (manifold absolute pressure) senor, it on bulkhead it conected to the EGR with a thin pipe. it will cost about £106 from ford, but you can get one off e-bay for £50. I have a 2008 mondeo with 1.8 Tdci (QYBA/Lynx). Apparently Mk2 Focus can have the same motor, so I also posted here, as there has been no help else where. First my EGR gave fault code P141A and then the car started to refuse igniting when motor was hot few weeks after that.
